Blythe Sized

everything miniature seems SO magical. . . don't you think?

i was always fascinated with Barbie sized accessories growing up and i used to "steal" all of my mom's *really* neat-o vintage Barbie sized goodies to use for my Barbies. . .

we would set up elaborate houses for our dolls in the living room or where ever space allowed! {we didn't own an actual Barbie house. . . but that didn't matter!}

now that i am "into" the world of Blythe. . . that love for all things miniature has reared it's glorious head!
from food to purses to tennis rackets to record players. . . i WANT it all!
here is a little peek into the Blythe sized world that i have made:

i have started to decorate my Blythes' house with "framed" art
"HAY!". . . my girls like this one a lot! ;) tee hee!
Stina made the banner for me. . . isn't it radical!?!

i just *heart* all things vintage Disney. . .
lately i have been on a "doe" kick though so, Bambi is on my brain!

indiana LOVES Bambi too and so we have started a "Bambi" theme in her bedroom. . . i ordered a LOVELY personalized Bambi paint by number hoop from Gina of Doe-C-Doe!

just because Eve is pretty

finally got Eve some *new* clothes! most are vintage handmade. . . but handmade with LOVE.

i have also been working on her house. . . she has a kitchen and a living room. . . but, her bedroom is kind of "to the side" of the house!
only SOOOO much room inside an old record table! ;)
p.s. she also adopted a new pet named Bambi. . . can you spy him?

my new pride and joy is the vintage *hot pink* pony stick that i found thrifting.
i wasn't sure how to display it. . . so i tied it with ribbon and hung in on Kendy's wall. . . this way i don't have to "hide" it from the girls {they tend to ruin ALL they touch!} and we still get to see his happy face every day!
i also got the vintage FP cash register off of Craigslist when we first moved here.
i got a HUGE lot for $15.00!

my birthday was terrific. . . a bit boring. . . {i'm kind of a homebody!}. . . but full of love.
Pace got me balloons and a VERY funny Twilight card. . . tee hee hee!

he got me a lucky golden chinese cat. . . {because i couldn't stop talking about the one i got for Danielle's birthday!}

and a bamboo plant. . . {he rests nicely in our kitchen window :)}
and he surprised me with a "trip around the world". . .
a two night stay in the heart of Chinatown in Toronto where we will be going to see the King Tut exhibit there!

i am SOOOOO excited!
i have always been obsessed with ancient Egypt. . . visiting the pyramids is a dream of mine. . . but since we can't afford that kind of trip right now. . . Pace got me the next best thing!
isn't he sweet? i think so!

so. . . i will be going to Canada, China and Egypt all in the span of a couple of days. . . nothing better :)
no flights. no serious packing.
just FUN.

p.s. i can't wait to do some shopping in Chinatown! also part of my birthday. . . a shopping spree!
